My convertible mini-cooper inspired this kerchief. When driving, I quickly discovered that I had to find a way to keep my hair from flying in my face - a tad dangerous - hence the life-saving ‘cooper kerchief’ (did you ever think that knitting could save lives!?). In warmer weather this little number is perfect for the beach or just scooting off to the store. The checkerboard stitch pattern is reminiscent of gingham cloths used for summer picnics.
