The design of SKEINO’s CORINTHIAN SHAWL was inspired by details from Renaissance Buildings in Italy.

The easy design is based on stripes of Garter Stitch ending in a lace row. But the eye-catching detail is the edge on both sides of the shawl.

These “Corinthian Leaves” are worked at the edge of each stripe through heavy increases and bind offs.

The 3 luscious yarns are DK weight and the fibers are a blend of Fine Merino – Silk – Kid Mohair – Nylon – Lurex.

Don’t pass up this opportunity to knit this exciting piece for yourself or someone else. This interesting shape is very easy to knit. The hand-painted yarn will not pool or zigzag because of the constant increases and bind offs.

The 16 colorways will give you a wonderful variety to choose from so that you can select your favorite colorway.

This is a great beginner’s piece and you will have fun with it when you see the “Corinthian Leaves” unfolding at the edges.
