Coriolis Color Stream by Cat Bordhi

Coriolis Color Stream

This sock pattern is one of 28 in my ebook, Personal Footprints for Insouciant Sock Knitters. My Personal Footprint method is fun and easy, and captivates even seasoned sock knitters with its innovative approach and ease of fitting any foot. It is ideal for normal feet as well as feet with unusually high or low insteps, and heels of all sizes and shapes.

Coriolis Plume and Coriolis Color Stream Socks
The Coriolis socks from my last book, New Pathways for Sock Knitters, are one of my most popular designs. When I experimentally added a Coriolis band to a Personal Footprint sock, the band dipped toward the ankle before spiraling up the leg. I liked this so much that I’m including two new Coriolis variations here. The Coriolis Plume swells like a pigeon’s fan tail where the band meets the hem, and Coriolis Color Stream’s band is brightened by hand-painted columns.
