I was inspired to create this cowl pattern after having seen many lovely corner-to-corner afghans and thought it would make a lovely stitch pattern for a cowl.

I would rate this pattern as an intermediate level, although an advanced beginner would probably be able to master this block stitch pattern with a little practice and patience. Be sure to look at my project notes for helpful links. Merri’s project page

Stitches used: ch, dc, ss

I chose to make this in a beautiful fingering weight fiber, but you could easily turn this into a warm winter cowl using any worsted or bulky weight fiber, just be sure to adjust your hook size.

The pattern has not been tested, so if you find any errors, please notify me so I can update.

Enjoy!
