This is a warm, cosy hat and fingerless mittens pattern that because it is made out of Aran weight yarn, crochets up really fast.

The pattern has both the hat and the fingerless mittens. There are instructions for the mittens to be made short or long.

The hat is started at the band, which allows you to try it on for fit and finished at the top, this also allows you to add or subtract rows to make it more or less slouchy.

The Mittens are started at the fingers and worked to the wrist, to allow you to change the length to suit the amount of yarn you have.

A great project if you are looking for something that only takes a couple of hours to complete.

TENSION/GAUGE
10 sc/dc sts over 10cm’s/4ins with aran yarn and a 6.5mm/K hook.
Although it is possible to get gauge in bulky yarn it is not recommended for this pattern as it makes the hat really heavy and you lose stitch definition.

This pattern has been tech edited by the wonderful (and patient) boricuacrochet who is available here on Ravelry if you are in need of a tech editor

The pattern is available in both US and UK term and has been tested by the wonderful testers in the Happy Hookers Hangout.

I am always available via pm or email if you have any questions or comments.
