Designed for knitters who are new to the Toe-Up method and who would like to try a sock with a little more difficulty. Instructions are given for two circular needles and include four versions of a basic sock. Options are Cosy Cabled Ankle Sock (A), Cosy Cabled Slouch Sock (B), Heads & Tails Ankle Sock (C) and Olive a Short Sock (D) with pretty cable panel. Two widths of sock are offered, the length is easily adjusted to suit your own foot. All socks shown are knit in chunky (bulky) weight yarn on 6 mm (US 10)needles.

Estimated yarn quantities are based on a standard(wide) foot of no more than 25cm (10 inches) in length. A Medium width foot longer than 10 inches may require more yarn than stated, whereas a Large width foot shorter than 25cm (10 inches) may require less.
