If you are going to knit only one item this year, this could very well be it. It is very easy to knit, so it’s also suitable for beginners. The Cousteau cap was inspired by Jacques Cousteau and his iconic red beanie. The modern take on the cap is a versatile piece that can be worn either as a beanie with the brim rolled double or as a more easy-going slouch. The Cousteau Cap is good for everyday use as it works with almost any outfit. There are two sizes available, so the cap is unisex.

The cap is knitted with fingering or sport weight yarn held double. You can either have two skeins of the same colour or add some texture with two different shades.
