Cove is a design built directly into CustomFit, which means that each Cove pattern is written specifically to your choice of gauge and size.

Cove is part of the Winter/Spring 2015 CustomFit Basics Collection.

Give your favorite fleece a serious upgrade by making one that fits you perfectly, out of a yarn you absolutely adore. This cardigan vest features a warm mock turtleneck, plenty of buttons, and 2x2 ribbed trim except on the armholes, which get discreet applied i-cord. With a low hip length and relaxed fit as shown here, you’re ready for an utterly cozy day.

This sample was knit in Rowan Brushed Fleece, an incredibly light bulky-gauged yarn with incredible warmth and fuzz. I used the color “Tarn”, at a gauge of approximately 3.5 stitches per inch, and this 38” (ish) sample used around 6 balls.

(One quick note on yardage in CustomFit patterns - the yardage requirements listed here are based on my preferred gauge for the recommended yarn. And while I’ve given approximate quantities for standard size sweaters, CustomFit will make your pattern in the size and gauge of your choice. It’s pretty tough to give yardage requirements for any possible combination! If you’re not using the recommended yarn, and/or you’re not a standard size, I recommend Hannah Fettig’s amazing app, stashbot, to get a sense of your yardage requirements.)
