This particular cowl neck was inspired by an Eileen Fisher design. It has proven quite versatile: It can keep you shoulders warm as a flattering wrap or hang loose around your neck as a stylish scarf. You can loop it twice around the neck for added neck warmth or, in case of cold and windy weather, as a babushka style head wrap.

Size US 11, 24” circular needles.

I used an aran weight yarn doubled, but it can also be knit in a chunky weight single strand yarn (~300 yards).
