Another beautiful and cozy blanket pattern that is enjoyable to knit, with impressive results!
This pattern combines vertical panels of cables and double moss stitch. Garter stitch edging is knit along with the blanket, so there is minimal finishing required.

Pattern includes instructions for knitting the blanket in 3 sizes.
Small size (approx. 25” x 30”, after blocking) is nice for carseat or stroller use.
Medium size (approx. 32” x 40”, after blocking) is great for the growing baby/toddler, who wants to be wrapped up in something warm and cozy.
Large size (approx. 40” x 50”, after blocking) is generously sized for the grownup who wants to be wrapped up in something warm and cozy, too!

Materials
Berroco Vintage Chunky yarn (or equivalent chunky weight yarn)
Small - 5 skeins, Medium - 7 skeins, Large - 10 skeins.
Circular needles (24” - 32”) in sizes 9 and 10.5.

Recommended Gauge
3.5 stitches = 1” in stockinette stitch, using larger needles.
Although the blanket is knit in cables and moss stitch pattern, gauge is knit in stockinette stitch, for ease in determining appropriate sized needles.
Change needle size as necessary, to achieve correct gauge and/or a fabric that you like. Since this is a blanket, exact gauge is not critical. It will, however, affect the finished size and amount of yarn used.

Enjoy knitting this pattern, and please post photos of your finished blankets!
