This ♥ cozy cover ♥ is knit flat except for the finishing edge around the top which is knit in the round.

The pattern includes 5 different charts for cable designs. The charts included are shown in rav the photos on the left.

Techniques Used

There are a variety of patterns, cable, lace or intarsia, which you may wish to add to your cozy.

The charts I have included are basic cable or lace patterns manipulated in different ways to achieve various outcomes.

• provisional (crochet cast-on)
• knit in the round using double-pointed needles
• Mattress Stitch
• Stretchy Bind Off

Finished Dimensions

Designed to fit standard sized hot water bottles – Approximately 8″ (20 cm) by 13″ (34 cm). Size will vary based on gauge.

Materials

 4ply Worsted Weight Yarn
 5.5 mm knitting needles (US size 9)
 5.5 mm double-pointed needles (US size 9)
 Spare yarn in contrast colour for holding stitches.
 5 mm (US size 6) crochet hook for cast on.
 Darning needle
 Cable needle (optional)
 Stitch markers (optional)
