♥ Toasty Teddy ♥ is a cuddly little heat pack great for easing earache pain, tummy aches or any pain where a heat pack will cause relief. It can also be used to keep a little warmer on those cold wintery day walks!

Materials

 DK/Sport Weight Yarn Superwash
- 2 colours; one for head, one for body
 4 mm knitting needles (US size 6)
 Darning needle
 Jersey Cotton for insert (or small sock; cotton tights)
 Embroidery Thread
 Rice (Jasmine for nice aroma)
 Sewing Needle
 Sewing Thread
 Funnel
 2 X 1.5 cm (radius) buttons
 Polyfil

Techniques Used

The Toasty Teddy is knit flat in two pieces then sewn together using a combination of the mattress stitch, straight stitch and grafting under the arms.

The insert is sewn using a straight stitch and alternatively can be done on a sewing machine.

Pattern is a very simplistic knit which includes detailed diagrams for assembling. Also included are care/use instructions and a printable care card to accompany the bear in case this is a gift.

Finished Dimensions

Approximately 9″ (23 cm) long by 4″ (10 cm) wide at the head. Size will vary based on gauge.
