These fingerless mitts are ideal for cool autumn days or to give your hands a little extra warmth in a cold office. Crispin can be knit using either four colors (as pictured) or make a simpler two color version if you prefer. Separate charts are included for both four and two color options.

4-6 years (6-8 years/Women’s XS, Women’s S, Women’s M/Men’s S, Women’s L/Men’s M, Men’s L)

Finished circumference of mitt is approximately 4.5 (5.5, 6.5, 7.75, 8.75, 10)”

Finished length of mitt is approximately 9.25 (10.25, 10.75, 11.25, 12, 12.5)“

Mitts are intended to be snug, if the hand of the intended wearer is between sizes, the smaller size is recommended.

Materials

120 (160, 205, 255, 310, 340) yds fingering weight yarn in main color (MC)
For four color version
40 (50, 65, 75, 90, 105) yds fingering weight yarn in contrast color one (CC1)
20 (25, 35, 40, 45, 50) yds fingering weight yarn in both contrast colors two and three (CC2 and CC3)

For two color version
75 (100, 125, 155, 185, 205) yds fingering weight yarn in CC1
For two color version: 1 (2, 2, 2, 3, 3) balls of main color and 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 2) balls of contrast color

Mitts pictured use Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift (100% wool, 115 yds/25 g). Colors used are: 190 Tundra (MC), 478 Amber (CC1), 390 Daffodil (CC2), 578 Rust (CC3)
