Add the features if you would like to use them for Halloween, or make a bunch of plain candy corn without the add ons and put them in a basket for a cute fall display.

You should know how to crochet a single crochet (SC), single crochet decrease (SCDec), double crochet (DC), half double crochet (HDC) chain (CH), slip stitch (SS).

(ST) = stitch

You should know how to embroider a basic backstitch.

NOTIONS

Crochet hook U.S. G /4.0 mm.

Small bit of poly fill or 30 large cotton balls per buddy.

About 2 yards black for embroidery per buddy. More if making witch, vampire and bat for add ons.

2 yards purple and green for Batty Corn wings

1 yard green for Corny Witch’s mole

3 yards green for Frankencorn bolts

1 yard purple for Count Cornula’s cape

2 yards pink for inside Kitty Corn ears

1 yard white for Count Cornula and Batty Corn fangs.

.3 oz orange, white and yellow per buddy

Yarn needle

Straight pins.

SOME TIPS AND NOTES

Each buddy is about 6 ½” tall by 3” wide (at base of yellow)

All yarn is Red Heart Super Saver since it is a bit stiffer than some other yarns.
