---This pattern is an easy pattern to learn. It has clear instructions and some photos to help with each step. Even someone who is just learning to crochet would be able to make them. The techniques used are slip stitch, single crochet and double crochet. The hook size is H, but you could probably use a G size as well. For years I made these with leftover acrylic yarn, but lately (in my Etsy Shop) I have been using 100% cotton yarn, but either would work. They are easy to machine wash with a small laundry bag and lay flat to dry. They are an item that will last for years of use.
