Pattern description from The Celtic Collection: “The Celtic crosses suggested the strong vertical panels and square shaping of this sweater, while the icy blue colour and textured surface reflect the stone material. I used a unit of knotwork from the Nigg stone for the sweater’s centre panel. The side and centre sleeve panels have a typical pattern found on numerous Pictish stones in Eastern Scotland.”

Knitted Measurements:

  • One size fits bust 86-97 cm/34-38”
  • Underarm 114 cm/45”
  • Length from top of shoulder 57 cm/22”

  • Yarn: 15 50g balls of Rowan DDK in shade no. 665 (Ice Blue).
  • One pair 3¾mm (US5) needles.
