Worked in the round, the Crux Cowl alternates the elongated Criss-Cross stitch with twisted and dropped stitches to create a fabric of textural columns. The pattern includes two sizes, since sometimes a taller cowl is just what the doctor ordered!

Ever since Kate Gilbert released her infamous Clapotis scarf, I have been drawn to designs with dropped stitches. While designing the stitch for this cowl I suddenly realized it would be a blast to incorporate them. My absolute favorite part is watching the fabric open up as the stitches are dropped. Addictive, to be sure!
