Cuckoo Waltz is part of the Green Bank Summer Collection. The collection is great value for money compared with buying the individual patterns.

Cuckoo Waltz was designed for using any fingering weight yarn in two colours. It is a top down, crescent shaped shawl that is easy to knit and easy to wear. A garter stitch body leads to a beaded, contrast lace panel and more garter stitch provides a solid ending with a contrast row a couple of rows before the bind off. Simple and elegant – just the job for those summer nights!

The original Cuckoo Waltz was worked in two skeins of Silk/Linen fingering weight yarn. This pattern is suitable for most fingering weight yarns – choose your favourite yarn or here is a list of in a similar composition (all with some linen for a fabulous summer feel) Handmaiden Fine Yarns Flyss, DyeDianaDye FlaxenSilk fingering, Lichtfaden Edition Alpaca Silk Linen Fingering, Walk Collection Linea, Triskelion Mona and Five Moons Mani LinSilk.

Finished dimensions - 75” (190cm) wide, 21” (53.5cm) deep. This pattern is written as one size but is easily enlarged or reduced further as the number of main body repeats can be adapted to suit your needs.
