Travelling Light is part of the Green Bank Summer Collection. The collection is great value for money compared with buying the individual patterns.

Travelling Light is a simple, top-down, shallowly triangular, shawl designed to be knit in almost any weight of yarn using two colours, though there is no reason why you could not add additional colours if you wish. Shown left in The Fibre Co Meadow, this shawl is, not only the perfect accessory for your travels but, the perfect travelling project – a celebration of garter stitch that enables you to travel light with your knitting! Easy to knit, easy to memorise, easy to wear and you can leave your beads at home – everyone needs to try Travelling Light!

It is written with three sizes but is easily enlarged or reduced further as the number of main body repeats can be adapted to suit your needs.

If you like my designs please join us in the Boo Group where you will find a place to discuss my patterns, show off your knitting and hear about KALs and MKALs.

Patterns already set up by KnitCompanion can be purchased, in the KnitCompanion Store, for knitters who like to use KnitCompanion, but prefer to have their charts already set up.
