When I first knitted these it was because I needed a pair of mitts that I could use during my early morning brisk walks. My fingers would become cold and although I would wear mittens or gloves there was always that time that I would have to take the gloves off to tie my shoe laces. So I thought what about a longer fingerless mitt, that covered my fingers but could be push back to do those little tasks that are always more difficult to do with gloves. Pattern has a graph for the twisted cable pattern.
I used Knit Picks Stroll, fingering weight yarn and depending on how you knit and the length of your hand for the cuff, I used one skein of the yarn…but I have small hands and have suggested using 2 skiens for that reason.
Cuffed or scrunched…I hope you enjoy knitting them.
