If you already have an understanding of basic crochet stitches then this is a good beginners/easy pattern that works up quickly and is a good stash buster.

The pattern includes instructions to make a raspberry vanilla, chocolate mint and carrot cake!

Materials needed (for each cupcake):
2x 25g of DK weight yarn in different colours, plus some scrap amounts for the decorations
3mm hook
Stitch marker
Toy stuffing
Yarn needle
Scissors
