Designed for a friend in a knitting swap group. I use 3.5mm needles for cloths since the cotton expands once it hits the water, but feel free to adjust needle size to what you find works best for you.
This pattern is worked from a chart in 3 colors but you may want to knit it in one color, purling the color stitches on the right side instead.
