When I found out that I’d be volunteering at the Vancouver 2010 Olympics, I was very excited and couldn’t wait to pack my bags and board a plane. Then I realized that I was going to have to work my butt off to be able to board a plane at all since I have to pay for my own flight and accommodations in order to be able to participate! I designed this washcloth as part of my efforts to do a little fundraising in order to ensure that I get to go to Vancouver – both to sell the finished object and the pattern itself.
