From Fiddlesticksknitting.com:
Dahlia Delight is a stole which uses traditional Estonian lace patterns in a non-traditional way. The diamond-shaped pieces remind us of the exuberance of “dinner-plate” dahlias, while the triangular sections suggest the leaves of the plant. The stole takes on different personalities with different colourways. Shown are two ideas— a soft, delicate version in pinks and blues, and a bold, vibrant version in reds and browns.

The stole is worked by knitting four diamond shapes from the centre outwards. Then the live stitches from each side are placed on the needles so that the triangular sections can be worked. I-cord is added at the edges, and optional tassels finish the points. Recommended for Intermediate lace knitters.
