The 1950’s woman effortlessly blended femininity and practicality to create a style unlike any other in the 20th century.
Dainty Doris mimics the talent of those 50’s women; a beanie or slouch with elegant lace, simple enough for a time-poor housewife and mama to whip up.

Dainty Doris - Worsted comes written in 6 sizes (from small newborn to adult), and is written for 10ply/Worsted weight yarn.

CONSTRUCTION
Dainty Doris is constructed from the brim upwards, and is knit in the round.
It features a very beautiful, but very basic lace to make up the body of the hat.
The hat may be knit to beanie or slouch length.

SKILLS REQUIRED
knitting small circumferences in the round
working simple lace
If you are not familiar with these techniques you may need to reference a knitting guide book, or view videos on the internet.
