Keep your teapot hot while the hours dance along until teatime. This tea cozy is designed to fit a vertical cylinder teapot, though it could be used with a “potbelly” shape, too. The cozy takes less than one ball of each yarn used and is a great way to use up those remnants of novelty yarn that lurk in so many stashes. Keep the novelty yarn at the bottom only so it won’t get in the way of pouring and end up in the teacup.

Excuse me, but what is this Fun Fur doing in my teacup?
It looks like the backstroke, miss…

No. Fun fur and cucumber sandwiches don’t really go together, at least not on any pairing chart I ever saw.

Substitute any dishcloth cotton and novelty yarn. A great project for stash-busting. The cozy is easily adjustable for differently sized teapots.

The photo isn’t backwards. The cow really DOES say “ooM.”
