I really enjoy knitting a shawl that has a relaxing rhythm with a simple lace pattern. With this in mind, I designed Dancing Embers. This pattern features a top down triangular shawl started with a garter tab cast-on. A triangle is constructed on each side of the shawl separated by a stockinette center stitch. The design starts out with a simple lace pattern with optional beading that looks more intricate as the shawl grows. This pattern can easily be modified to use more yardage of a gradient skein of yarn.

I would like to give special thanks to all of my test knitters: Catherinesm, KnitwitVic, tuerkis, kettavern, lkgervitz, kungfuknittermom and lakshmi07. Without all of you, I would not have been able to make this happen! Also, thank you to kwunder for tech editing my pattern! I appreciate all of your help!

Last but not least, I must give all of the photography credit to my amazing daughter, Lauren. She is always there at my beck and call to do photo shoots even when I interrupt her favorite show :) I love you!
