Dandelion Wishes is an 8ply/DK weight sweater for girls.

Dandelion Wishes is the comprehensive version of the free Taraxacum Sweater pattern - both of which are top-down and seamless in construction, and feature a striking textured stitch panel across the chest and body.

CONSTRUCTION
Dandelion Wishes has you cast on at the neckline, and work flat forming a rounded garter neck line.
You will continue working the chest (with flower detail) and upper sleeves in one piece until you reach a specified stitch count. From here the arm stitches are put on to waste yarn, and the body (continuing with flower detail) finished in the round.
Once the body is completed, the sleeve stitches are returned to the needles and worked in the round.
There are regular stitch counts throughout the pattern to help guide you along the way.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • backwards loop cast on (under arms)
  • knitting small circumferences in the round (sleeves)
  • long tail cast on (neckline)
  • working top down raglan construction

If you are not familiar with these techniques you may need to reference a knitting guide book, or view videos on the internet.
