Daring Dorian Blanket by Laurinda Reddig

Daring Dorian Blanket

Of the four textured stitch patterns learned in the last chapter of Rowan’s Learn to Crochet Sampler, I thought the puff stitch would make the nicest blanket. Unlike popcorns and bobbles, the puff stitch appears the same on both sides, and the fabric it creates is not as dense as the basket weave.

Added the Picot stitch to all the others learned as part of Rowan’s Sampler. The tiny little loops of the picot stitch used in the edging are often seen in edgings and in lacework. But you never know where you might find them, so I thought I should include them here. After all, the charge of the Crochet Liberation Front is “Set My Picot Free!”
