I designed and knitted this shawl just for fun of creating a shawl that could look good both on the right and wrong sides. The pattern alternates knit and purl, which gives a different aspect on the wrong side and there are some who like the ‘reverse’ even more than the ‘front’.

It is a sister shawl to Marduta, which is also a two-sided rectangular shawl, and both patterns can be purchased as an e-book.

The yarn can range from Lace to Sport, depending on how airy you want it to be.

The pattern can be customized by using different yarns, needle sizes, or adding repeats to the pattern.

The shawl is easy to knit if you know some basic lace stitches – increasing, decreasing and yarn overs.
It is also fun to knit, not too complicated and yet not boring either.

I wish you happy knitting and a beautiful final result!!!
