Debaser is a small shawl, from the Alt Shawls collection, unique shapes inspired by music.

Not all shawls have to be delicate and time-consuming… This heavier-weight, quick-to-knit, top-down single-skein shawl has a broken-rib body that branches out into a bold edging.

The perfect project for a single skein of hand-dyed worsted weight yarn or a great last-minute knit for anyone on your “nice” list!

Pattern is fully written AND charted, so choose whichever suits you best. Debaser could easily be knit with any weight of yarn, and pattern includes instructions on how to customize the size of your shawl.

“Debaser” is a nod to the 1989 Pixies song of the same name.

Pattern has been test-knit and edited. Enjoy!
