Inspired by the Painted Desert of Arizona, this shawl design is knitted back and forth on the circular needle, includes a lace pattern and short rows to provide a very gentle curve. The curvature of the design drapes nicely on ones shoulders and will stay in place.

Yarn:
400 to 450 yards of worsted weight yarn (sample created in Lamb’s Ears Worsted Weight)

Measurement:
19” from mid-point x 58 wide”

Gauge:
7 stitches and 12 rows = 2” in stockinette

Materials:
Size US 8 (5.00 mm) 29” circular needle
Size US size J/10 (6.00mm).
