Worked in a variation of two colors with a simple cable stitch band, this super fast knit project is a great way to use up stash yarn or create a hat to show off your favorite school colors or your favorite Harry Potter house colors.

This pattern is designed in two sizes (women/men), requires 2 skeins of worsted weight yarn (model hats knitted in Paton’s Classic Wool in Solid and Marl), a size US 8 16” circular needle, 1 set of size US 8 DPNs and a tapestry needle.

Finished Size:

Women’s : small to medium (18”– 22” diameter)
Men’s: medium to large (22” – 24” diameter)
Both are approximately 7” in length

Yarn:
1 Skein of Patons Classic Wool in Marl (A) 223 yards/205 m
1 Skein of Patons Classic Wool Solid (B) 223 yards/205 m
