Desperate Renee is a simple but elegant beret. The pattern is suitable for all levels of knitting skills.
Back in January of 2011, I became quite obsessed with this design after watching Renee (the Desperate Housewives character played by stunning Vanessa Williams) wearing it in the 712 episode (“Where do I belong?”).
To get rid of it (the obsession), I looked and looked again for a matching pattern wihout any luck. So I decided to work on one and here it is.

With the experience of a few FOs, it now seems my yardage is on the lower side. My advice is to look through projects to make sure you have enough yarn before venturing this pattern.
