The Wien Bucuresti socks are largely inspired by a pair my grandparents brought back from one of the long trips they took from France by road to visit my grandfather’s family in Transylvania.
The memory of the exact circumstances under which they were acquired is now lost but recreating those three-colored top-down socks with an afterthought heel allowed me to travel in mind from Vienna to Bucharest. Won’t you join me ?

Around 245 yards/225 meters of black yarn, around 90 yards/85 meters of red and around 70 yards/65 meters of white were used for the sample pair
