This wrap features a wave pattern punctuated by small diamonds which increase in size three times, until they meet at the top of the shawl. They are seperated by panels of seed stitch, which serve to make the shawl soft and squishy and also give it a fun texture.

When knit in cotton yarn in a light worsted weight, this wrap is perfect for cool mornings and evenings! :)

Here are the stitches/symbols you’ll need to know:

k – knit
p – purl
k2tog – knit 2 together
skpo – slip 1 stitch knitwise, k 1, pass slipped stitch back over
sl – slip indicated number of stitches knitwise
sk2po – slip one stitch knitwise, k2tog, pass slipped stitch back over
yo – yarn over
– repeat the sequence of stitches in brackets until told to stop. For example, p 8, k 2 x 6 means that you will keep doing the pattern p 8, k 2, p 8, k 2, p 8, k 2 six times
* * - Repeat what’s written between the two asterisks until the end of the row or until told to stop
