Sam promises he comes in peace! He just wants a piece of your toybox, bed, and your heart. :)

Slider is one of the most unique monsters out there - his arms and legs get shorter and longer!! That’s right - he’s adjustable! As of the date of this posting, he is the only knitted monster pattern on Ravelry (unless a monster escaped my one hour long search) that has that very special capability.
Knitting: Cowl
I recently moved from Idaho to Washington, where I discovered that there is an actual Fall season in some places in the world - instead of a couple of months that oscillate between summer and winter. :)

Moe loves the fall. He especially loves November because he grows a mustache (or moustache if you’d rather) in honor of Movember (http://us.movember.com), which supports prostate and testicular cancer research.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This shawl idea was born because I wanted a stripe shawl in a fingering weight. But not a regular stripe shawl. I wanted something where the stripes zig-zagged slightly. Not overwhelming so, just a slight meandering of the stripe color.
Knitting: Doll
Wendy is one of the wackiest witches I’ve ever met. Her favorite holiday is Valentine’s Day, and this Halloween, she’s determined to scare up a date for that special February day. :)
Knitting: Animal Toy
Calling all yarn scraps!! Billy the tiny horse is the perfect project to round up all those leftover pieces ranging around your stash.

Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Between the Lines is an elongated half circle shawl with a top-down construction. The half circle is formed with short rows. After the short row shaping is completed, the lace pattern is then knitted the entire length of the shawl.

Milo is a moody guy. However, he is still very easy to get along with.
Knitting: Cowl
It’s winter. In Idaho. I needed something to keep my neck warm that was simple to make and with a subtle texture.

Patty the pony is a fun-loving gal. She likes long walks in the woods and be warned - she’s a blanket hog.

Clyde loves watching television. In fact, he is uniquely suited to the task, since his most highly developed sense is his eye. His favorite thing to watch is science fiction, because he says that nothing out there comes close to the truth.

Maddox loves a good mystery. He loves creating them too, so keep tabs on your small shiny objects and loose socks, because he will hide them for you. :) He himself, however, does not like to wear socks and would much rather be barefoot all the time. And with feet that cute, who could blame him?

Flynn is an interesting character. He is half fairy and half monster, which creates some interesting problems. After going through a “poor me” time in his life, he’s now ready to face things head on and take over the world. Or, at least your toy shelf.

Florentina grew up in New York, where she trained at some of the finest ballerina schools. Her favorite color is green, and she enjoys matching her slippers, her tutu, and her mittens to be all the same color. Oh, and her favorite breakfast is a bagel.

I found Barry while cleaning out from under my bed last weekend (yes, its been awhile). :)
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Lately I’ve been playing with different shapes and combining those to make the traditional triangular shawl. This shawl begins with knitting the center square section. The left, right and bottom triangles are then knit in succession and are shaped with decreases every other row.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
After a foundational stockinette stitch triangle, the pattern then opens up into a small leaf pattern, which transitions into a wave design.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
I came across this motif on the side of a beautiful Moroccan building. Once charted, I added the smaller motif “knots,” the basketweaving for some complementary texture, and the rounded triangle edging along the bottom.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
Knit in a simple stockinette stitch, this pattern features a curvy winged shape which mirrors a butterfly’s wings. The shawl uses row increase and short row shaping to create the wing segments.
Knitting: Shawl / Wrap
This wrap features a wave pattern punctuated by small diamonds which increase in size three times, until they meet at the top of the shawl. They are seperated by panels of seed stitch, which serve to make the shawl soft and squishy and also give it a fun texture.
Knitting: Scarf
This wrap is modeled after the edge of my grandmother’s curtains that she had hanging in the kitchen of the cabin where my family has kept their cows (out on the range) for generations. The simple wave bottom, followed with a decorative dividing line, leads into evenly spaced, simple flowers in a daisy-inspired form.
Knitting: Scarf
Knitted in a simple garter stitch background with alternating complementary colors, stitches are slipped and cabled up the rows to form intersecting diagonals.
Knitting: Scarf
Send your scholar to school in style to “Hit the Bricks” with this soft, squishy scarf. Done in garter stitch, it features slipped stitches, which form the “morter” for the “bricks.”
Knitting: Animal Toy
Terrance is pretty sure he is a duck. His friends try to tell him otherwise, but at the end of the day, he really doesn’t care as long as someone is around to give him the occasional hug.
Knitting: Scarf
Have a beautiful yarn in a brilliant colorway that you don’t want overwhelmed by a busy pattern, but don’t want to do something too plain? This scarf is the ticket for you! Simple diagonals create a subtle pattern and allows your beautiful yarn colors to be the heart of the piece.
Crochet: Applique / Embellishment
Need a small flower for an amigurumi pattern? Or a flower barrette for a special little girl? These tiny puff flowers are just the right size! Using an E (3.5mm) size hook and worsted weight yarn, the flowers are about the size of a U.S. Quarter.
