With cuffs and an easy-to-memorize stitch pattern, this shawl is a a beautiful and practical garment as well as being a great first lace project.

The sample is knit with a yak/bamboo blend in a DK weight, but any tightly spun, non-fuzzy DK will work for this design (such as Ultra Pima or Royal Llama Silk).
