This fabulous yoked sweater is knitted in the round from the bottom up in stocking stitch. Gentle waist shaping creates a flattering shape. Sleeves are also knitted in the round then joined with the body to work the classic diamond pattern yoke using Fair Isle technique.

This simple yet absorbing knit is a great introduction to both Fair Isle and circular knitting. The pattern includes both written and charted instructions.

A true classic sweater to be worn again and again.

Diamonds are Forever is knitted in Excelana 4ply 100% British wool from Susan Crawford which is the perfect yarn for Fair Isle knitting, and can be purchased from SusanCrawfordVintage.com

The colours used in the sample shown are Alabaster for the main body with Charcoal, Sweet Chestnut, Persian Grey and Saharan Sand used for the yoke.
