Dinky Ice Cream
DINKY ICE CREAM TOY KNITTING PATTERNS
This little ice cream cone can be knitted as play food for dolls or toys, or you could use it as a bag charm. If you don’t have any toy filling in your stash, you could even use a few cotton wool balls to stuff your little ice cream.
THE PATTERN INCLUDES: Row numbers for each step so you don’t lose your place, instructions for making the ice cream, a list of abbreviations and explanation of some techniques, a materials list and recommended yarns. The pattern is 2 pages and written in English.
TECHNIQUES: All pieces are knitted flat (back and forth) on a pair of straight knitting needles. You will need to cast on and off, knit, purl, increase (kfb) and decrease (k2tog and p2tog), and sew a seam.
YARN, NEEDLES & NOTIONS INCLUDE:
- A pair of straight 3.75mm knitting needles (US 5)
- Double knitting yarn (DK or light worsted weight) in white and yellow
- A small amount of toy filling (or cotton wool balls) to stuff
- Beads to decorate
