Feature just one dinosaur or put a group of them on this beanie. Patterns are included for Brachiosaurus and Stegosaurus.

Techniques used in the beanie include knitting in the round, some basic lace, and a few rounds of Fair Isle. Techniques for the dinosaurs include Icord, short rows and picking up stitches.
This is an intermediate level pattern.

You may use any yarn but yarn that includes at least 50% wool will hold the shape better and is recommended for the dinosaurs.
The beanie is knitted with sport weight or light DK weight yarn.
The palm tree top of the beanie can be knitted with worsted weight to make it stand out more. (optional)
The dinosaurs are knitted with sock weight yarn (approx. 24 yds (22 m) each)
