CONFIDENT BEGINNER LEVEL: This project is easy to work with and pretty repetitive when it comes to the length part. Not gonna lie, it’s quite time and yarn consuming, but that’s the price you’ll have to pay for this cutie pie skirt. I’ve set this as confident beginner level because it includes some front post and back post stitches. It’s not very difficult to execute, but I don’t consider these stitches suited to a complete beginner.

SIZE: Made-to-measure: designed to fit adult sizes, from XS to 5XL.
A gauge calculator is included with the pattern.

REQUIREMENTS: chain, double crochet, single crochet, slip stitch, half double crochet, front post half double crochet, back post half double crochet

YARN: #3 Light (DK) cotton yarn.
XS: ≈ 350 g (1070 m), S, M, L: ≈ 400 g (1200 m), XL, 2XL: ≈ 450 g (1400 m), 3XL, 4XL: ≈500 g (1600 m), 5XL: ≈ 550 g (1700 m).
Yarn amounts are estimated using the gauge calculator and standard sizing for a skirt that falls above the knees. These are guidelines only. For a more accurate estimate based on your measurements, use the ‘Approximate Yarn Needed’ tab in the gauge calculator after making a swatch.

TOOLS: 2.3 mm hook, 4 mm hook, 5 to 25 buttons (14 mm) - the amount is chosen in the gauge calculator according to the skirt length and your preferences -, stitch markers, measuring tape, yarn needle to weave in ends, threads and sewing needle to sew on buttons.

CONSTRUCTION: The skirt is worked in rows from top to bottom. The buttonhole section is added next, followed by the ruffle along the bottom edge. The piece is then finished with a waist border and two straps.

MEASUREMENTS: Waist size and desired length

GAUGE: 10 cm x 10 cm = 25 stitches x 9,5 rows with a 2.3 mm hook, using this pattern: 1 dc, ch1, sk1; repeat. Gauge measured unblocked.

NIVEAU DEBUTANT CONFIRME : Ce projet est facile à travailler et assez répétitive en ce qui concerne la partie “Longueur”. Cette jupe demande un investissement en temps et en pelote assez conséquent, mais il faut au moins ça pour cette jupe adorable. J’ai choisi un niveau débutant confirmé parce qu’il y a un travail en relief avant et arrière sur la partie “Ceinture” de la jupe. Ce n’est pas quelque chose de difficile à éxecuter mais je ne catégoriserais pas ça comme adapté pour un niveau débutant complet.

TAILLE : Fait-sur-mesure, conçu pour les tailles adultes, du XS au 5XL.
Un calculateur d’échantillons est inclus avec le patron.

PREREQUIS : maille en l’air, bride, maille serrée, maille coulée, demi-bride, demi-bride relief avant, demi-bride relief arrière

FIL : Fil léger en coton type DK → se crochète en 2 ou 3 mm.

MATERIEL: Crochet de 2,3 mm, crochet de 4 mm, 5 à 25 boutons de 14 mm (la quantité est choisie en utilisant le calculateur d’échantillon en fonction de la longueur de la jupe et de vos préférences), marqueurs de mailles, mètre mesure, aiguille à laine pour rentrer les fils, fil et aiguille à coudre pour les boutons.

CONSTRUCTION : La jupe est travaillée en rang du haut vers le bas. La boutonnière est ensuite ajoutée, suivie par deux bordures effet froufrous sur le bas de la jupe. Le projet est ensuite complété par une ceinture au niveau de la taille et deux cordons.

MESURES : Tour de taille et longueur voulue

ECHANTILLON : 10 cm x 10 cm = 25 mailles x 9,5 rangs avec un crochet de 2,3 mm, en utilisant ce modèle : 1 br, 1ml, passer 1m; répéter. Echantillon mesuré non bloqué.
