In Terry Pratchett’s Discworld novels, he mentions in a few books these creatures called Swamp Dragons. Swamp Dragons are small dragons that rich ladies keep as shoulder accessories. Swamp Dragons are walking explosions waiting to happen…. in fact, their natural defense against predators is to explode!
In one Watch house, an enterprising young Igor has installed a zipper in the belly of the beast so that dragon eaten items can be retrieved… if you dont mind a little corrosive Dragon bile that is.

ETA: 2/1/08- a lot of people have contacted me asking how much yarn Flynn took to make. I made Flynn from the recycled sleeve of a size large woman’s sweater, so I don’t know the exact yardage. However, one $2 skein of Caron’s Simply Soft should be more than enough if it helps.
