DK Pachena is a playful design featuring a garter stitch neckline and unique tweed pattern in the body of the cowl. A good project knit for the advanced beginner to experienced knitters, for learning and/or practicing stitch technique: increases, directional shaping, knitting flat and knitting-in-the-round.

DK Pachena was designed with hand-dyed and hand spun yarns in mind for highlighting the tweed stitch pattern. The design was inspired by the Pacific Rim National Park, The Westcoast Trail, which begins at the beautiful Pachena Bay, near Bamfield on Vancouver Island, and meanders south along the coastline to Port Renfrew.

The design is dedicated to a talented artist, Tiffany Brown.
