This shawl is actually half of the double-sided shawl that makes up winter in the shade. Thinking that some people might prefer to knit one side or the other as a regular shawl, I’ve included pdfs for both in the eBook March Winds for the price of one shawl. If you are interested in purchasing this pattern, you just need to purchase the eBook - all 3 pdfs will be available for you to download.

This shawl is worked from the bottom tip to the top edge and can be done in any weight/gauge and to any size. The shawl shown was knit in about 475 yards of fingering-weight yarn; it measures approximately 44” across and 21” deep. Choose a needle size that gives you a nice fabric with your yarn.
