Inspired by The Rocky Horror Picture Show, this crescent shawl features garter stitch which is broken up by a double feature of fishnet lace (Frank would love this!), stripes follow and flows into a pretty lace border. I’ve always loved RHPS, and I know that the film means something different to each of us, and I hope you enjoy my design.

The shawl measures 21 inches from neck edge to bottom edge of shawl, and 62 inches along the top edge of shawl

As written, this shawl uses two colours. For the variegated main colour, I used just under 400yds and for the solid contrasting colour I used 250yds. But if RHPS has taught us anything it is that we can accessorise how we please and should you want to do it one colour you’ll need 650yds of the same yarn, or you could even use a different colour for each section.
