This 14-page knitting pattern creates a reversible Garter Stripes scarf in 3 lengths, using Loops & Threads Charisma. The soft neckwarmer is knitted in contrasting yarns, in a double-faced technique that is fully reversible.

The pattern has lots of photos of this new technique, along with written instructions for creating the scarf in three sizes, as well as photo tutorials on several unusual techniques utilized in the pattern. The pattern also includes some illustrated suggestions for alternate yarn options.

Skills assumed:
• knit
• knit into back of stitch
• purl
• knit into front and back of stitch
• slip st kwise or pwise with yarn in front or in back
• yb (yarn back)
• yf (yarn forward)
• yo (yarn over)

Each scarf uses 1 ball of each of 2 different colors of Charisma. The shortest scarf option has a button closure, and will need 2 (1 1/8”) 2-hole buttons plus 2 (5/8”) shirt buttons.

Here is a blog post on the development of this technique: https://thefiberbug.blogspot.com/2017/07/the-joy-of-disco...

The pattern is intended for the personal use of the purchaser, and is not meant to be used commercially.
