This gorgeous stranded colourwork cowl features a double row of hearts and a double layer of fabric to keep you extra warm. With different sizes and charts to choose from you can mix and match to make your own unique design.

You cast on with a crochet provisional cast on before working the length of the cowl. You then fold the cowl in half and join the two ends with either a three needle bind off or kitchener stitch.

Sizes
There are two sizes. The first size is a close-fitting cowl, designed to be worn up over your chin. The second is a looser fit to hang down under your chin. When laying flat they measure approximately:

Smaller size: 19cm high by 28cm wide
Larger size: 19cm high by 32cm wide.

Yarn requirements
I recommend Skeinz Orb Fine yarn (100% merino, 169m per 50gm) or any 4ply/fingering weight yarn that you choose. You will need approximately the following amounts of each colour.

Please note that the amounts listed below are for ONE side of the cowl only, you will need to add up the total amount depending on what charts you use to construct the cowl

Chart A
Main Colour: 35gm/118m, 40gm/135m
Contrast Colour: 35gm/118m, 35gm/118m
