Driftwood socks are suitable for an intermediate sock knitter. They can be knit from the toe-up or the top down, in an 8-stitch lace repeat, and use the Sweet Tomato Heel developed by Cat Bordhi. Both Toe-up and Top Down instructions are included. The pattern is written for a medium women’s shoe. It can be adjusted for different sizes by increasing or decreasing 16 stitches at a time, or more easily by adjusting the needles size to suit. The leg length is 8”, which can also be adjusted to suit individual preference by adjusting the number of pattern repeats (a 12-row repeat). This is the featured project for the Yarn Mountain Sock Club, September 2013.

Please contact me if there are any questions about the pattern.
