This cardigan was originally published in West Yorkshire Spinners Crochet Winter Warmers pamphlet distributed with Crochet Now Issue 10.

Made of two rectangular pieces in aran-weight yarn, this cardi is super simple to make! The stitch pattern uses just one basic crochet stitch: single crochet.

Worked in an unusual way, the stitch pattern mimics knit garter stitch and provides an eye-catching texture.

Expect to drift smoothly through the pattern and come away with a cozy, comfortable garment with a bonus luxurious collar that is created automatically.
